How to prepare an abstract?
1) The Polish language is obligatory.
(2) The abstract must not contain tab and end of paragraph marks, tables, graphs, figures, photographs, or a list of references. It should have no more than 2000 characters.
(3) The text of the abstract should be written in a uniform font without distinctions such as bold, underlining, CAPITALS, VERSIONS).
The abstract must contain the following data written in a string without tab and end-of-paragraph characters:
- Surname and first name of the Author(s).
- The title of the paper
- Scientific Degrees of authors, names of institutions, city, and country.
- Keywords.
- Text- up to 250 words (about 2000 characters). In order to properly calculate the words in the abstract, we suggest that you prepare the text in a word processor (e.g. MS Word) and use the option to automatically determine the number of words (in MS Word, select "Tools", then "Word Statistics"). After writing the abstract, just copy and paste it into the appropriate box in the form.
- The abstract should be divided into the following sections:
- Introduction- theoretical introduction and purpose of the study;
- Subjects and procedure- a brief description of the subjects, the tools used, and the research plan;
- Results- a summary of the results including the necessary statistical values;
- Conclusions-Theoretical and/or practical conclusions of the study.
Each part of the abstract should have a heading, e.g. "Introduction," etc.
Abstracts submitted for oral presentation must contain the results of the study and conclusions (not unfinished research or in the process of developing results).
Please submit abstracts only through the Conference website, via the "Submission Form". Abstracts submitted in any other form will not be included in the Conference program.
Selected papers will be published in the journal "Studies In Sport Humanities".
The papers must meet the specified editorial requirements.
The Scientific Committee of the Conference - following the author's indication - may recommend papers for publication in the above-mentioned journal, but it will be the Editors of the journal who will decide whether to accept the work for publication – in line with the current publishing procedures (including additional reviews). The Authors of papers accepted for publication will not incur additional costs.
